** Yoga For Golfers™ 

I’m currently not offering any Yoga for Golfers classes.  However, if you are interested in hosting my classes, please feel free to reach out and I’ll see if I can create space.  In the past, I’ve had the pleasure of working for 6 years with golfers at Silver Springs Golf and Country Club and The Winston Golf Club.  At times we offered my classes twice weekly, but sometimes up to 6 times weekly with Silver Springs members coming over to the Winston to attend more often.  The classes had a very strong following.

Functional Yoga (For those with a cancer diagnosis)

This class is a yoga/movement based class that builds gradually over 12 weeks.  We use a progressive loading method to slowly build strength in all ranges of motion, an approach that helps to reduce pain and make day to day activities easier. Each class also focuses on breath and relaxation.  We go from floor work to standing work but modifications are available for everyone.  No previous yoga experience necessary.

Please note these classes fill very quickly and always have a wait list so please be quick if your intention is to join us.

Yoga Thrive (For those with a cancer diagnosis)

Yoga Thrive classes run 12 weeks, three times each year.  January – March, April – June and September to December.   There are many locations that hold Yoga Thrive classes and many gifted teachers. My locations are as follows, but if they don’t suit your schedule, please contact the University of Calgary directly @ 403-220-7749 to find another time/location. Registration typically closes 5 days prior to the program start.  **Please note that the Wednesday class, in particular fills quite quickly.

True NTH Yoga (Yoga for those with a prostate specific diagnosis)

This research/weekly program has ended but is now offered as community programming with some of our partners throughout the city.

 

Yoga Thrive for Youth (Pediatric Oncology)

This research/weekly program has ended.  However, we are always keen to offer these classes but recruitment is challenging.  If you are a youth or parent of a youth with a cancer diagnosis who would like to take yoga, please contact me or the Wellness Lab at 403-210-8482.

 

The Yoga Effect is currently booking private sessions. 

When possible I consider private lessons, my schedule doesn’t always allow for it, but please feel free to reach out and check with me.

Please call 403-828-0879 to book your private and receive a fully customized program built specifically to your physical needs and opportunities.  I use a system of assessing functional movement and physical limitation based on my training from The Titleist Performance Institute.  This is an incredible program that helps isolate the limiting factors so that a program is best suited to you and your specific needs.
