Yoga for Golfers™ is a globally recognized program. It blends yoga, exercise science and biomechanics with the mind-body connection necessary to maximize physical potential.

As a C-IAYT yoga therapist, I’m doing more than simply teaching you a yoga class. I’m using the principles and practices of golf specific yoga, yoga therapy and golf fitness to empower you to build health and well-being as well as optimize your game mechanics. I am TPI trained by Dr. Greg Rose and Dave Phillips. I completed my Yoga for Golfers™ certification (Levels 1 and 2) in Scottsdale Arizona. 

I definitely do not do what a Golf Professional does however, there’s a great opportunity for my work to compliment what they do with you. Collaboration between golf and yoga professionals is an advantageous approach for any golfer.

Since 2010 I’ve worked with hundreds of golfers to improve their physical limitations by building mobility, stability and strength.  We also work on focus through the mind-body-breath connection as well as relaxation, recovery, coordination, patterning and movement induced neuroplasticity.

You are welcome to attend my weekly classes which are currently being held online. I have open public classes as well as golf club exclusive classes for members of specific clubs, please ask your golf pro if they are offering Yoga for Golfers.

Your body acts as your 15th club in your bag.  To reach maximum potential, the golfer must access all resources – instruction on the bio-mechanics of the swing, changing technology and the power of the body.  The impact of the golf swing happens in less than two seconds with the club head speed typically being 70-90 miles /hour.  Impact carries a huge force in the body from the compression that occurs in the spine.  Couple that with the fact that you are walking four – five miles per round, taking over 100 practice and actual swings, leaning over 30-40 putts and bending down 40-50 times.  The golfer’s body simply can’t bear the one sided repetitive strain put on it without sustaining imbalance, instability, fatigue and risk of injury.  Yoga For Golfers™ is the remedy to this.

With your commitment, I will help you achieve your goals of driving further, creating more power, improving club head speed, and creating a functional body that will allow you to play longer, with more stamina and with reduced recovery time.
